Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This part of the course is focused on receptive skills which are listening and reading. Here we learn a variety of things that motivate listening or reading such as the motive, entertainment. We also learn how to select texts that will motivate students to be interested such as texts that doesn't contain language beyond their understanding or we teach them some foreseen difficult vocabulary. This was the section i was most worried and also curious about. Understanding english and its usage is not that difficult as a native speaker, But setting up a lesson plan that is concise and gives you the ability to get the most out of a lesson is foreign to me. This section really explained the details of how to set up and the different ways you can approach a good concise lesson plan.
