Taichung city is the big city in the middle Taiwan while Nantou county is a mountainous scenic spots in Taiwan.
You can travel to Taichung city in 20-30 minutes from Caotun town and travel to Nantou county for scenic spots by bus, such as Sun-Moon lake on weekends.
Caotun town is a small town with access to supermarts, small department stores, music stores, shopping malls.
