Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, common problems in EFL teaching were addressed. Then, potential solutions were offered as well as advice for the first lesson and beyond. I really enjoyed this unit since it brought everything that I already learned together and addressed potential problems that may occur in the process of teaching. I appreciated the honesty and the advice and how practical this lesson is for every teacher. It describes the capabilities, motivations, and perspectives that good teachers and learners should have. There must be an understanding that those learning may not possess the knowledge that the instructor has, and that there are various styles in which people learn. The emphasis should be on clear communication and establishing rapport with each other, with grace in correction yet a focus on accuracy.
