Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

On reflection, I will be revisiting my first course to review the ESA lessons, really looking at what activities should be done in each individual section of the ESA lesson. I'm going to get a file together of activities for the Engage/study/activate stages and I think that will help me consolidate this course in my mind. Being a new ESL teacher I feel I still have a long way to go with regards to planning my lessons. This unit was useful in providing information regarding the issues and experiences that one may run into while teaching business English to adults. It also briefly recapped the different types of layout for a lesson, which will likely come in handy depending on the age of the adults in a class as many may only have experience with the older type of lesson styles such as grammar translation for learning a new language.
