Keltic English Centre are looking for a TEFL qualified EFL teacher for the next academic year starting in September until June 2021. The successful candidate will join a team of dynamic, motivated EFL teachers keen on developing within their profession, and who take teaching seriously. We are a modern, private, Irish-owned language centre set up in 1993 and we enjoy a reputation of being one of the leading schools in our town.We have 2 centres in Caceres, both located in the city centre.
We teach general English to children, teens and adults as well as prepare them for the Trinity College London exams and Cambridge English Language Assessment. We have been a preparation centre for both examinations boards for over 20 years.
We offer our teachers a comprehensive Teacher Training Programme and a great opportunity for Professional Development within the TEFL profession. We are members of FECEI (Federation of English Language Teaching Centres in Spain) and TESOL Spain. We provide extensive teacher training, and our teachers attend conferences and workshops throughout the year funded by Keltic, which help them develop further in the field of TEFL.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our teachers are professional and committed to their job and to their students.
The job entails teaching English to mainly school-going children,teens and also adults, term evaluation, attending weekly meetings, teacher training, professional development sessions, and preparing students for external exams.
Our timetable for classes is in the afternoon/evenings (4pm-10pm) Monday to Thursday
QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree
Recognised TEFL qualification (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL)
Working knowledge of Spanish, an advantage
Experience working with children and teens a plus
Experience with Trinity and Cambridge exam preparation will be valued
SALARY & BENEFITS:
SOCIAL SECURITY: Full National Health Insurance & social security cover.
CONTRACT: Full time contract (21 contact hours minimum) Monday to Thursday
SALARY: Above the National Working Agreement & national average for Private language schools.
Gross salary: 1,400 - additional hours/optional
RELOCATION: Financial Assistance (hotel on arrival)and full help with accommodation
