Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have been teaching different subjects for many years, and have developed my own style of teaching. This section has put structure to the teaching process. Now while I am teaching, I have some new ideas on when I can more effectively move to the next stage. I have students that are resistant to learning material. These techniques can make learning fun and more acceptable to me resistant students. One of the things that I have learned from this lesson is how much difference the placement of your tongue, lips and teeth have on your pronunciation of sounds. I previously had not thought about the fact that teeth are a big factor in the pronunciation of certain sounds in English. I have also learned that teaching pronunciation can be a daunting task but it is an important part of learning English.
