Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

this unit presented a lot of new information for me in regards to learning tool and equipment used in the classroom. personally I haven't encountered a good half of it in my teaching time. Generally I use text books, white board, reference materials (dictionaries, grammar books, etc.) visual aids, CD recorders, laptop. I think i will need some training to start using IWB or OHP in my lessons. The videos are very informative and give a great example of how a teacher should and should not be in the classroom, especially when dealing with adults. There was a clear difference in attitude with the teacher in the two videos, the first being generally negative and the second being more engaging and positive. I feel that this is a good guide in practice of how to be an effective educator.
