Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson is about modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. It can be difficult to understand and bust be presented with care. Modals often show obligation, possibility, permission, ability or advice. In order to help understand these grammar points, you can use role play, rules, and signs. Phrasal verbs should be kept track of and used naturally during classes to help ingrain them in the students. This unit covered equipment and teaching aids in the classroom, however I do not think that an entire unit should have been dedicated to this, as it is all very straightforward and requires basic common sense. I did not learn anything from this. On the other hand, the list of links to the extensive online resources is an added bonus and I believe will be tremendously useful for future reference and use.
