Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit elaborated on the ways of organizing the student group and classroom layout to achieve success of the classroom. With emphasis on the role of a teacher with regards to instilling discipline, conveying instructions, maintaining a cordial rapport with and implying board writing skills. In overall, classroom management is the skill of organising and managing the class for an effective learning process. This unit gave a detailed outline of different methods that would work best when teaching vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. I learned the four things that students need when encountering a foreign language and how to properly instruct them by using the different ESA structures depending on the lesson. I also never considered the process to select the vocabulary for a lesson so that was very useful.
