Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Finding appropriate resources was the single biggest issue when I was teaching. I had almost no suitable books available to plan my lessons and on the internet it is very difficult to find resources for a specific topic. Especially since older students that have to learn elementary English don't want to complete worksheets that have been designed for 8 year-olds. This Unit gives a good insight into lesson planning and materials. This unit introduced about how to evaluate students and testing methods. Tests can be divided into 4 basic testing category to evaluate student`s progress and level, as placement test, practise test, diagnostic test and progress test. And there is also external tests. Each tests have a specific purpose such as to know student`s level, progress, disadvantages of skills etc. Learners usually get external tests for work and study.
