Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was confusing. It was difficult to understand all of the time specific language in terms of reporting events. All of this is rather natural to English speakers, so breaking down the rules was difficult. I had to refer back to the chart several times. Also, natural English speakers tend to make mistakes that don't necessarily sound wrong to our ears. It will be difficult to teach this to non-native speakers.I learned about present tenses in the Unit. It would have been more useful if there were more examples given. Most of the examples given used very simple sentences and i would have liked to see more complex sentences. The videos were very helpful, they gave me a better understanding of the unit. I still find this unit a little bit confusing, but i hope my understanding of it will be better once I complete the course.
