Stress in sentences bolding gives the sentences its meaning in that where the stress lies helps to determine what the sentence is talking about. Therefore, in teaching English language, teacher should carefully and properly identify the stress as it appears in the sentence. This will aid student progress and to adequately tackle the problem associated with ascent especially among student learning English as a second language.The disadvantage of whole class grouping: Reduces opportunities for students to speak (STT); off putting to shy students who may not wish to participate in fromt of the whole class; class size and classroom furniture can be problematic. Circles and horseshoes: Teacher's position is less dominating; students more focus on lesson; pairwork easier; students have eye contact with each other; and create more intimate arrangement.
