This unit takes us to the future and beyond! In addition to covering future tense formation, this unit gives explanation and examples of how present tense can be used to imply the future. I'm not sure I ever fully considered the extent of present tense's ability to talk about future events. I found this unit's lesson to be fairly informative, and has been earmarked for further consideration.While I did learn about the differences when teaching different groups in this lesson, I was struck most by the similarities between teaching these groups. One of the biggest aspects of successful language teaching is fostering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. While the tone, professionalism, and visual aids may vary-- creating a safe place for students to learn and make mistakes is key.
