Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson taught about lesson plans. It covered why we write them, how to write them, what should be in them, making sure to evaluate yourself to improve next time, and how to plan a series of lessons. I learned that lesson plans should be adapted to fit the teachers style and comfort. That not all lessons need to be the same as long as they have the right things in them in an organised way. This unit examines how to create a good learning environment for students. It explores different factors such as how to group students, different ways to build rapport how to ensure students don’t fall behind during group activities. This chapter also explores different ways of avoiding turning your back of students during class, and the importance of giving students one-on-one attention.
