Special Education Teacher – Green Unit (SAMA Educational Company)

SAMA Educational Company is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Green Unit, a specialized program designed to support students with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an inclusive, structured, and nurturing learning environment that supports each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities 

Provide individualized instruction and support tailored to students with special educational needs  

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)  

Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs  

Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records  

Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment  

Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and school leadership  

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress  

Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development  

Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans  

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development  

Supervise students during school activities, transitions, and breaks  

Follow school policies and maintain professional standards at all times  

Promote inclusion, respect, and student well-being  

Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership  

 

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field  

Valid teaching license (Special Education preferred)  

Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)  

Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices  

Ability to build positive relationships with students and families  

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills  

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
