Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I learnt that for a class to be able to learn effectively the teacher must be able to inspire confidence in the students. He/she must be flexible and change his/her role according to the activity and situation without being dominate or leaving the students uncertain. Therefore, he/she should have the skill of organizing and managing the class, in a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. The contents of this unit reflect a brief overview of the expectations inside an English learning classroom. It covers important information on how a respectable teacher should behave, as well as the roles the teacher should be able to fulfill. It also touches on what makes an ideal learner, and outlines the differences between learners in terms of age, language level, learning backgrounds, and more.
