Even though we have gone over the do's and don't's of a lesson, it was very insightful and useful to see them in action. The first lesson was the perfect example of what not to do and the effects it has to have such a condescending and uninterested attitude. While the second lesson, he made me want to be there taking the class. Very engaging and the teacher's attitude made it fun and made the lesson not seem endless. This Unit explored the various types of teaching equipment that may be used within the classroom. I learnt that these can include the white board, interactive white board, overhead projector, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorder, cd player, videos and dvds, video cameras, dictionaries, course books etc. I learnt about the advantages and disadvantages to using these aids, and how best to use them.
