Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 3 provides guidance for the teacher to assist students in learning the English language. The Unit provides an overview of the various teaching methods over the years. In advocating the Engage Study Activate method of teaching English, one is presented with various techniques to use in engaging students who are desirous of learning the language. It reinforces that the student should always be encouraged to learn.This unit describes the roles of the teacher, what makes a good teacher and the varying methods that can be employed to help students achieve their goal of learning a foreign language, in this case, English. These methods include the roles of a manager or controller, an organizer etc. It also gives an insight into why students may want to learn a language and the various levels of proficiency that students fall into.
