Lincoln English Center is looking for a native English speaking TEFL certified teacher for Los Reyes Michoacán in Mexico. Candidates should have at least basic level Spanish, be available for an immediate start and be capable of teaching a variety of levels and ages. Benefits include a six month contract teaching Monday to Thursday with additional conversation classes on Fridays. We provide accommodation and a starting salary of 5’000 MXP per month.

Since i grew up seeing my mother teaching, i noticed many common aspects between her teaching methods and what this unit taught. It is very interesting to read how teachers should be and how teachers should confront different types of students. I believe there are many aspects of being a teacher, that I still have yet to learn, but this unit gave me a good insight of what it is like being a teacher.This unit assisted me to define the different levels that ESL learners can be one and what to expect from them at these stages. This helps me to plan lessons based on what they are capable of at that stage and help them move on to the next stage. I liked this unit because it gave me a clearer idea of what a good teacher and learner is, and how I can use this information in my ESL classes. Thank you!
