Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was a great introduction into lesson planning with lots of examples. The key things that should be included or thought about when making a lesson plan were noted and discussed. Through the explanations and examples, I was able to see reasons why these key things are important. The lesson plan example and particularly the examples of activities were very beneficial and give me a way to visualise the content I have just read.Unit twenty covered troubleshooting potential issues that can arise while teaching English as a foreign language. I learned good ways to build rapport and engage the class with warmers that help break the ice. I also learned ways to deal with classes that may have students on different levels. I was also nervous about large class sizes and reluctant students but this unit went over these issues and provided solutions to them as well.
