Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The content breaks down the English sentence structure into its grammatical components. Their is a range of grammar components such as articles (definitive) and (indefinitive). Other components include adjectives, verbs, adverbs, pronouns, and nouns. While these comprise of the primary components to the English language structure it is reasonable to understand how this is a solid base of knowledge to start forming English sentences. This was a tricky lesson, as there are so many different irregular verbs to consider when it comes to using the past tense. It is also important to consider the reasoning behind choosing a certain verb form. These are always important to remember, especially when giving a proper explanation to students who are curious or are interested in understanding why we make exceptions for irregular verbs in the past (and present) tense forms.
