This unit helps new ESL teachers understand the importance and use of English Teaching methodologies and techniques. Method is a plan for presenting a certain language material to be learned. It is agreed among linguists that it should be based upon a selected approach. This Unit described 9 methods that are not definite in success rate, however they can be used to provide variety in content presentation.This unit focus on the teachers and learners. After studying this unit, I realized that as a teacher, knowledge and patience are not enough to be considered as a good teacher. I need to be aware of the age difference, motivation difference, and proficiency difference of all learners. Also, by rotating different roles of teaching instead of talking in the class all the time will help students learn better.
