Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Getting students engaged in the activities and topics is important for the lesson. There might be students that are not familiar with some terms of the lesson, pre-teaching vocabulary must be reviewed by the teacher and planned thoroughly. Reading and listening and a good attitude at the beggining of the class will help students to be interested in the lesson as some students do not like reading. This unit is important because it teachers the importance of the ipa in understanding and teaching pronunciation. It can be a tool to teach students difficult sounds that might not be in their native language. More importantly this lesson is about how important proper pronunciation is in communication and why we should try to teach our students about correct intonation, stress, and pronunciation.
