Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was about teachers and learners. It included information about teacher's roles during a class, quatities of a good teacher and learner. Some basic differences between young and adolt learner were discribed, how to distinguish levels of ability in English. It was said that it is important for a teacher to take into consideration cultural aspects while teaching students of different nationalities. This unit went over pronunciation and phonology. The most universal way to write out correct pronunciations is using the International Phonemic Alphabet. This helps especially with the way English varies throughout the world, and how sound joining can affect the pronunciation of words and sentences. It is also important to emphasize how different parts of the nose, mouth, and throat form different sounds.
