Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discussed through a variety of creative ways, how to effectively introduce new vocabularies to the students, make them become familiar with grammatical structures that would allow them to construct their own sentences clearly and correctly, and how to identify what type of function a particular language/word/sentence is. This is important to learners so that they can converse in English more fluently, smoothly and confidently. The unit reflection is talking about the past tense. I have learned that the structure and system of past tenses is not too different from the present tenses, except that the past tense relates to events in the past. I have learned how the past tenses are formed, by adding 'ed' or 'd' to the base form in the affirmative, and 'did' or 'didn't' in the negative. i have also learned about how the past tenses are being used in the sentence.
