What this unit reinforced for me was that an educator brings into his or her classroom, as far as their mental attitudes or states, will directly result in the potency for any lesson. If the educator comes in with a positive mental attitude, it will result in a better chance of success for their learners. I have recognized this myself in my own classrooms, and it was nice to see it illustrated in the video of the unit.This lesson was very helpful for me to visualize lesson plans and how I would like to incorporate the material in my classes. I think it highlighted how switching up the ESA structure according to lesson can be beneficial and I will definitely take that with me. I also enjoyed how the unit outlines which components of each category (vocabulary, grammar and language function) are imperative to the student's progression.
