Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Although most native English speakers think of the present as one tense, it is actually composed of four tenses. The simple is formed with just the noun/pronoun and the conjugated base verb, the continuous uses \"do\" conjugated with the unconjugated base verb, the perfect uses \"have\" conjugated with the past participle, and the perfect continuous uses \"have\" conjugated with been and the gerund form of the verb.Unit 4 covers materials (authenitic and non-authentic) including textbooks (advantages and disadvantages; best usage) and lesson planning. I have learnt what to take into consideration in creating materials for the classroom. I haven't expected that there are so many points to consider in how to present the materials to the students. I find this unit extremely useful according to creating a lesson plan and material.
