Teacher must love children, have a great attitude towards teaching children, be open minded, flexible and caring. Most of the students are between 5 and 15 years of age with a few adult classes.

This lesson was about how to teach the two productive skills which are reading and writing. It started off by stating the importance of these skills and then went into explaining accuracy and fluency activities. It was interesting to learn which parts of the lesson is controlled by the student and the teacher. When teaching writing, it is important to emphasize penmanship, spelling, punctuation, and practice creative writing.I feel that I have learned the expectations for each language level. That is important because I have always wondered about how to best place my students without a level test. I like being able to place students based on personal interviews rather than a paper test. I also learned about different teacher’s roles. The way I see it, it’s important for the teacher to know when in the best time to play each one of them.
