The Washington Institute of Language is situated in a medium-sized city, Kumamoto ( Contact us ), with a lot of nature surrounding it; it is famous for a castle, which was home to a samurai lord; it is a mixture of urban and country, which is also famous for high humidity. Especially though, Kumamoto is known as a country city, a friendly place where you will find Starbucks, KFC, McDonald's and Baskin Robins as well as a host of Japanese shops of all sizes and shapes. We are urgently seeking a full-time English teacher especially for children with phonics or related knowledge & adults. A qualified candidate will be given highest priority. Duties include adult and children's classes, 5 days a week, up to a total of 26 hours a week. Training time is expected of applicant before commencement of duties.
