Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was definitely a lot harder to comprehend based off the first unit but I think that I pulled through. I really enjoyed learning this unit, even though it was more challenging than the last. The video was really easy to follow and was such a huge help for me in terms of understanding. This unit has given me more than enough information on all parts of speech and I will, for sure, take this knowledge to my students. This unit covers common language teaching techniques, and elaborates on a combined approach called Engage-Study-Activate (the method taught in this course). I learned that a good lesson plan should contain each phase, and begin with and Engage phase and end with Activate phase. The unit also does a good job explaining a variety of activities suited to each phase, as well as giving advice on when to hold or give corrections.
