LIVING IN JAKARTA
Jakarta is a bustling Asian metropolis. A city of contrasts, there are all night discos and shining shopping malls yet many of its people still carry on centuries-old traditions from all parts of Indonesia. It is also safer than you may have been led to believe. Many of our teachers have decided to stay because they like living in Jakarta and like working for our school.
Our school is located in suburban Jakarta, about a twenty-minute taxi ride from downtown. Beautiful beaches are only two hours away by car. Teachers have the best of both worlds: a quite place to live and work and an exciting nightlife not far away.
WORKING FOR EF SUNTER
Teachers average between twenty and twenty-five teaching hours per week. Most of our students attend high school or university but we also have children's classes. Applicants with experience or a love for teaching children are urged to apply.
We offer a competitive salary, which allows a comfortable lifestyle. The cost of living in Indonesia is very low. Teachers can easily afford frequent weekend outings and longer vacations to explore all Indonesia has to offer.
