Jakarta is a bustling Asian metropolis. A city of contrasts, there are all night discos and shining shopping malls yet many of its people still carry on centuries-old traditions from all parts of Indonesia. It is also safer than you may have been led to believe. Many of our teachers have decided to stay because they like living in Jakarta and like working for our school.

Our school is located in suburban Jakarta, about a twenty-minute taxi ride from downtown. Beautiful beaches are only two hours away by car. Teachers have the best of both worlds: a quite place to live and work and an exciting nightlife not far away.

Teachers average between twenty and twenty-five teaching hours per week. Most of our students attend high school or university but we also have children's classes. Applicants with experience or a love for teaching children are urged to apply.

We offer a competitive salary, which allows a comfortable lifestyle. The cost of living in Indonesia is very low. Teachers can easily afford frequent weekend outings and longer vacations to explore all Indonesia has to offer.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit contains a lot of new information for me personally. Usually I work teaching individual students. Considering, I have been doing it for a while, I have not taught large groups, in my next stage I am planning to teach large groups of beginner students. I believe that this article is very important for my use in the next stage. I think it provides good quality information, however I still do need to do some extra reading. In this unit, the main focus is how teachers can deal with different issues that arise in the classroom, It discussed how teachers can solve these issues as well as the cause of most of these problems. It gave examples of how teachers must work through these common issues with students as well as how to deal with both new and returning students. I can see myself using these tips in my classroom since these are common occurrences.
