Briton English Education has 24 centers all over Indonesia including Medan in North Sumatera, Makassar, Manado & Kendari in Sulawesi, Banjarmasin and Martapura in Kalimantan, Sorong and Jayapura/Papua. Our new centres in Jakarta, Semarang (Central Java) & Makassar (South Sulawesi) are looking for qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced EFL teachers to teach General English and exam preparation classes commencing as soon as the current situation improves. Experience in Teacher Training is a big plus. We currently have 5,000 active students who are mostly from primary and secondary schools as well as university and employees.
DETAILS OF POSITION:
We focus on helping students develop their speaking proficiency and prepare for exams at the end of each level. Cambridge University Press endorses most of our teaching materials and student books. Our students are mostly from primary and secondary schools and carefully selected and grouped using English Placement Tests. Teach 18-22 hours a week & 5 days a week. Assist in Teacher Training Programs: Initial Teacher Training and ELT Workshop as a Trainer or Facilitator.
REQUIREMENTS:
**Due to Indonesian immigration regulations, only applicants holding passports from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, or the USA with the following qualifications will be accepted:
Undergraduate degree
TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or equivalent
Teaching experience:3 years
Native level English speaker preferred
Experience teaching young learners, adults and/or teenagers at a reputable institution
Willingness to help students, learn and to develop teaching skills.
Experience of working in Indonesia or South East Asia.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Briton offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on locations & level of qualifications and experiences.
Take-home monthly salaries range from IDR 13,500,000 to IDR 20,000,000.
Experience as a Trainer in Teachers Training or equivalent can be rewarded by up to IDR 1,500,000 per month.
