Verita International School Greece located in Glyfada has an opening for a permanent full-time primary classroom teacher to start April 8th.
From Year 1 through to Year 6, students at Verita’s Primary School are inspired to develop a lifelong passion for learning, a commitment to being empathetic and caring individuals, and the courage to realise their hopes and dreams.
A standards-based curriculum provides the foundation for preparing students to think creatively, communicate effectively, and be enthusiastic learners.
Students are engaged in hands-on project-based learning, driven by their own curiosity and interests. Through project work, children actively investigate their interests, discover new ideas and develop their own theories, learning to think critically and creatively. Project-based activities engage students in authentic learning and connect them with their environment and community.

It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent skills in English, a teaching qualification (TEFL/TESOL), and teaching experience. Previous experience with inquiry-based learning would be an advantage and a love of working with children is a must.
Teachers are to report to the school superintendent and are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing the Verita curriculum. They are expected to maintain a thorough understanding of both subject matter and pedagogy. Teachers are expected to treat their students with kindness and respect and to provide them with an outstanding international education that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
