Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discussed the various types of classroom aids commonly found in an ESL classroom. It discussed both the electronic and non-electronic aids. These include but are not limited to, IWBs, boards, video cassettes, dvd players, computers, visual aids. The most helpful part of this unit was learning on a basic level how these classroom aids are typically used, as it provides ideas for how to plan a lesson involving them.In this unit I got to know what are the criterion of picking relevant vocabulary and grammatical structure forstudents to learn. Also how to introduce these elements to students through applying the ESA method and its variations. This unit showed me which factors determine the students' level of difficulty in acquiring new vocabulary and grammatical structures which should help in developing adequate techniques of teaching.
