Stevens English Training is a privately-owned language school with 35 years experience in the field of corporate language training. We are major players in EFL in the federal state of North Rhine Westphalia. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated English trainers who are willing to commit themselves to a minimum two-year contract in our school in Essen. There is a high emphasis on the corporate client, so experience in the business world would be an asset. Due to the large variety of our clients and the high level of English spoken by the students, teaching is varied and challenging. More than three-quarters of the lessons are currently online, however slowly companies are returning to the idea of having face-to-face lessons on site. In addition our centre in Essen is noticing a resurgence of course participants preferring to come in for their lessons.
Degree Required
Native level English speaker preferred
Qualifications
We are interested in employing both experienced and inexperienced trainers. The following qualifications are however preferable:
- University Degree
- CELTA/TEFL/TESOL
- EU National Passport holders or UK/US National Passport holders.
The following qualifications would be useful but are not essential:
- A driving licence
- A basic level in German
- Experience in the business world.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidates will be offered:
- Full support in the case of UK/US Nationals in gaining work and residence permits
- A full-time contract of employment with an 80 hour minimum monthly guarantee. (Full details of salary are sent with the invitation to the interview).
