Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit gives a helpful introduction of English grammar. By explaining the different parts of speech in the usage of words, it has helped to clarify, to a certain degree, how different parts of speech are applied in the construction of a sentence. It has also alerted us to the many exceptions in English grammar. Understanding the general rules in sentence constrcture helps us avoid making grammatical mistakes.This unit outlines the importance of balancing a lesson plan to make it flexible enough to manage efficiently, yet structured enough to complete objectives. I will lean towards making my lesson plans more structured until I have gained enough experience. Until this unit, I had not seen a lesson plan; I will base my lesson plans off of this unit's recommended structure and modify them to fit my classrooms' needs.
