Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I have learnt about the different methods used for teaching young learners. I learnt about language acquisition and how children absorb language. I saw the need for making a good learning environment by setting up the classroom in a way that will best suit the class. I also saw that you need to further separate young learners into two groups, and how each group best learn.I did not really learn anything new, but it was all good refreshers of old things that I have already learned in school. The points in the chapter of where to place 'the' in a sentence were interesting because I hear it naturally, but I do not think I would have been able to explain it myself without the pointers. I forgot completely about auxiliary verbs, so that was a great refresher.
