Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was more useful in that I have not yet seen a business English course, or varied types of English courses so it helps to know what it is out there. I currently have a monolingual class, some of the same concepts do apply. Teaching should be fun and is flexible in that you are preparing students for something you could not do yourself, like business, and is one of the main reasons I love to teach.In this unit I have learnt about the importance of course books. Although I believe they are important for things like the structure of a course, and to offer good ideas to inexperienced teachers; I do also agree that exclusive use of course books can make lessons boring and predictable for students. I myself like to use the course books for reference to the syllabus, and also for the grammar explanations.
