We have a full time vacancy for an experienced, qualified EFL teacher. Based in Veliko Turnovo but likely to also be working at our Pleven branch. Excellent salary 1070BGN/ month net (three times the national average) plus free Bulgarian lessons, 32 hours/week. We are a small, friendly, family run school. Students are mostly university age, but intake from 8 years to pensioners. General English and Exam classes (FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, IELTS). In this unit, I have learned how to teach speaking and writing skills, these two skills are the productive skills. Just like the two receptive skills, they are equally important. These skills require accuracy and fluency. Accuracy should be controlled by the teacher while fluency should be controlled by studentsï¼Œ but the teacher should set up the activity needed for the students to become fluent.This unit examined the use of course books prescribed for the different levels of students which is very debatable because of its advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I do use the course material but always use additional material which I would have created or researched. This has enabled me to see vast differences in the children's learning ability as compared to using the course material alone.
