Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I liked this unit as i am a creative thinker and love creative writing! I think it is of great importance for students to embrace their imagination especially when acquiring a new skill. It is important to encourage them to embrace their imagination and not be ashamed of it. Games can be fun but can be used in negative ways, so it is important to include them in lessons but to not only focus on them.In this particular unit I received the opportunity to learn more about the productive skills of speaking and writing. I also received the chance to understand the importance and difference between accuracy and fluency, both of which are often mixed up. With accuracy, it is more important monitor and with fluency it is more important to make side notes of mistakes while allowing the students to speak.
