Responsibilities:
• Classroom management.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;
• Preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises;
• Checking and assessing homework,
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students whilst keeping electronic records as required.
• Marking and providing appropriate feedback;
• Devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources.
• Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as games, sports competitions, school parties, dinners, excursions and social events;
• Attending and contributing to training sessions;
• Participating in marketing events for the language school;
• Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises.
• Teaching on a one-to-one basis.
• Teaching online.
• Using a variety of delivery methods, which will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and demands of the syllabus.
• Finding ways to involve students into their lessons. Additionally, teachers may have to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student.
• Undertaking such other duties as are commensurate with the post and which may reasonably be required by the Principal such as preparing materials, recording educational video, etc.
• Organizing and running specialist courses.
• Working collaboratively with all Awesome Academy staff;
• collaborating with other departments;
• contributing to sales and marketing activities;
• other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of a B.A. or B.Ed. in any subject
• A TEFL / CELTA Certificate
• Passport holders from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, New Zealand or Australia
