Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provided a good foundation for beginning to create and understand lesson plans as well as understanding how and when to correct students accurately and efficiently. Learning about the various methodologies in this unit allows new teachers to more precisely create lesson plans for their students by taking into consideration their students’ backgrounds, cultures, and needs. In this unit I learnt the different kind of obstacles that can come between a teacher and students such as culture. Also, I learnt how students are divided based on their age and their English proficiency. This unit thought me how to be a good teacher and to encourage the students to become a better learners . Lastly, I was able to know the different roles a teacher can be in a class.
