Tea is very popular in the country and green tea is the national hot drink although black tea is preferred in Tashkent.
Tashkent has a superb transport network allowing people to get anywhere in the city throughout the day. The city’s metro system is the best way to get around and is in service from 5 o’clock in the morning to midnight.
Tashkent’s history goes back 2,200 years that takes in the Islamic civilization, the Mongol conquest as well as Tsarist and Soviet Russia. The city was an important travel and trade center on the Silk Road with its favorable location and mild climate.
Tourist sites in Tashkent include Hazrati-Imam Square located in the historical part of the city. You can also see the Baraq-Khan Madrassah and Tilla-Shaykh Mosques, the Mausoleum of the famous Islamic scholar Abu Bakr Qaffal Shashi, and The Imam al-Bukhari Islamic Institute. In addition, the Tashkent Television Tower, at 375 meters high, is the 11th tallest tower in the world.
Furthermore, this unique city has important architectural and historical value – its architecture traverses different epochs beginning with ancient settlements, medieval buildings, Soviet era buildings, modern luxury apartments and business centers. Today, there are 2 international airports and a railway station in Tashkent. One of the main attractions of the city is the Metro, which stands out for the unique design of each station.

The School
The Tashkent TEFL training center is located near to the city center. The training center includes modern learning zones, leisure and social spaces that are convenient for delivering teaching practice sessions. Trainees study in one of our modern air-conditioned tutorial rooms with interactive whiteboards. There is also a learning center furnished with the most up-to-date teaching materials. Additionally, our Students Services team is here to help with anything trainees need during their stay.
Our course trainers are experienced and internationally qualified instructors who do everything they can to assist trainees become certified and successful TEFL instructors. All of our trainers are DELTA and CELTA/TESOL certified with extensive teaching experience. During the course, trainees focus on enhancing practical skills with face-to-face teaching practice, which provides trainees with the methods and self-confidence they need to begin their teaching career.
Accommodation
There are several accommodation options available including hotels and hostels. All accommodation is within walking distance of our training center.
