It also gave her many insights into how to structure her lessons. She now feels very confident in her ability to be able to deliver productive lessons to her students. She now plans to further her job prospects by completing ITTT's Teaching English to Young Learners course.

From this unit, I got a deeper understanding of the role of the teacher in the classroom. I realized that depending on the type of activity and the main goal of the lesson, the roles can be changed throughout the lesson. Moreover, I brushed up my knowledge and became more aware regarding differences in motivation, experience and behavior patterns between young learners and adults.This constitutes the first full unit of the course and we look at a wide range of issues including developmental theories, teaching methodologies for different age groups, the importance of the learning environment and the language skills that students will need to develop. I learned nothing from this chapter. Some of the reference materials might have some information of value.
