Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit covered different equipment and teaching aids to use in the classroom. There are advantages and disadvantages to each. The white board is popular and easy to use. The teacher can also use overhead projectors, visuals, worksheets, cassette recorders, video cameras, computers, dictionaries, course books, resource books, copies via the photocopier and online resources.I didn't expect this section to be as difficult to understand as it was mostly because I've never really thought about the difference between direct and reported speech before. I really appreciated having this lesson now so that I am better prepared for teaching it to the students than if I had been asked to instruct them on an aspect of grammar I never even realized existed.
