Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This is a unit that requires a good deal of focus and interpretation. With there being seven different major future tenses two of which overlap with the present tense it can be confusing which tense to use. It is difficult to apply the situations to there correct tense labels even if you're fluent in English so I can only imagine how much harder it must be for people who are learning as a second language. This unit discussed the past tenses and the situations to apply the various forms of the tense. I learnt how to explain the difference between each of these forms by using them in sentences to describe a past situation. I also learnt how to use different activities to use in both the study as well as the activate stage of a class, and how that helps the students understand the concept and structure better.
