Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit focuses on giving advice for classroom management. In order to properly manage a classroom, it is important a teacher uses proper gestures, simple vocabulary, positive feedback to build rapport, and patience. A teacher also needs to make sure to balance how much they are speaking to the students and dominating the classsroom with how much time they give to the students to work on their own and express themselves. This unit was based on common sense, however I feel that It would be much easier to answer the questions if you were someone with no classroom experience as some of the answers were contradictory! I found I was second guessing myself quite a bit as I felt more than one of the answers in the multiple choice would have been apllicable. I have however taken on board lots of really useful information on seating arrangements!
