A private language school in Boston is seeking energetic and self-motivated teachers of ESL for international high school, college, and adult students at various levels of learning. Teachers must be dynamic and have good classroom management skills. Ideal candidates will have a breadth of experience in instructional methods, and a passion for cross-cultural teaching. Experience teaching all levels of grammar is required. We are an equal opportunity employer and an e-verify business. Job Details:
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 1 year + of adult ESL teaching experience in a classroom setting (internships, tutoring, and volunteer work do not meet this requirement), Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TEFL/TESOL certificate). Test preparation
experience (TOEFL iBT, TOIC, ILETS, GMAT, GRE) preferred.

Phonemic symbols have always been a difficult part in Linguistic learning for me. Not being a native speaker, I think it would be the most difficult for me to teach people to pronounce with a certain accent students want to learn (eg British). Stress and intonation are more of a daily habit. When we teach, we will need to dig a little bit deeper so to make sure we are giving out correct explaination.This Unit explained the five forms of expressing conditional situations (Zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals). The structure and typical usage of each conditional form was explained. Teaching examples were also displayed. The unit also covered reporting direct speech and how we go about back shifting the pronoun, tense, time and place of direct quoted speech to form the reported speech.
