Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit described how to properly organize and manage a classroom. It detailed proper teacher behavior, classroom arrangement, teacher and student interactions, and maintaining discipline. I learned the importance of limiting the teacher's talking time. I also learned the benefits of non-traditional classroom arrangements. Additionally, I learned the proper way to respond to student behavioral problems.I really enjoyed this unit as it gave a real classroom experience. The differences between the two lessons are quite stark, and I felt rather uncomfortable watching the first lesson as the students' discomfort was obvious and a good teacher would change tactics when seeing students react like that. The second lesson was very effective, and I can use this as a model for how I want my classes to be. Thank you!
