Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

There are different materials that can be sed in the classroom - authentic and created ones. Usage of the course book has it's advantages as well as disadvantages. THe course books make it easier for the teacher to plan the lessons because it's structured. But the books may not always meet the student's needs and interests. So, the best way is to combine a course book with other materials. This unit was all about teaching some special groups like beginners, young learners, and business English learners. For each category, some strategies were discussed. Like for young learners it is important to keep activities short and exciting in order to keep the attention of the students. For business English learners it is important to cater to the specific needs of the organization.
